Day 01 : Arrival in Leh | Welcome to the Top of the World

After arrival, reach the designated hotel in Leh. We will send you the details of the Hotel/Venue via mail. Gradually get acclimatized to the climate. In the afternoon, a brief about how to ride in Ladakh’s terrain will be given by your road captain. You ID’s and licence copies will be collected to permits and registration. In the evening may visit the Leh Market, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa on your own. Have delicious dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 02 : Leh sightseeing | Exploring Sham Valley (90 kms round trip)

The motorbikes will be handed over to you in the morning. Start the tour with Hall of Fame, which was constructed by the Indian Army to commemorate the sacrifice of soldiers during Indo-Pak wars. Visit Mahakal Temple and  Spituk Gompa – an 11th century structure. Next on the list of attractions is the majestic Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Nestled deep in the Himalayas, it was constructed by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to honour the visit of Guru Nanak Dev – the founder of the Sikh faith. Drive another few km to witness the magic of Magnetic Hill that defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road, it seems to slide up and further. Driving through a picturesque landscape, we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar River (Sangam). While returning to Leh you can enjoy delicious langar at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Later, enjoy dinner after you have experienced a day full of activities and thrill. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

Day 03 : Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La Pass (18000 ft.) | A Drive to the World’s Highest Motorable Road (120 Kms)

After breakfast in the hotel, prepare yourself for the ultimate adventure. The journey from Leh to Nubra falls on a very scenic route known as the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys, the Khardung-La pass is one of the world’s highest all-season motorable road. As you descend from Khardung-la, visit Desert Himalaya Adventure Park where you can have lunch and enjoy adventure activities like World’s longest High Altitude Zip line and ATV ride at Khalsar sand dunes (lunch and activities on direct payment basis) Later visit 108 ft high Maitriya Buddha Statue at Diskit monastery and Hunder Sand Dunes where you can enjoy double humped camel ride (on direct payment basis) Post dinner enjoy stay  under the sky full of stars. Overnight stay at Nubra Valley.

Day 04 : Return excursion to Turtuk Village (160 kms round trip) | Gateway to Siachen Glacier

After a delicious breakfast, ride towards Turtuk – the last outpost in India after which the Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins. Turtuk is one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier. The place is culturally, linguistically, and historically different from what you’ve seen till now in your Ladakh holiday as it falls under the Gilgit-Baltistan region. Even the landscape is different with dramatic narrow valleys and steep mountains, unlike Central Ladakh and Nubra comparatively, situated at a lower altitude than Leh, you’ll see green pastures here that yield fresh produce like apricots and apples. Return to the campsite  and proceed for dinner. Overnight stay in camps at Nubra valley.

Day 05 : Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake (160 Kms) | The Bollywood connection

After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) through the Shayok River Valley. A beautiful drive of appox 04 hours and you’ll be at one of the most beautiful places of the planet. Spend some time around the lake visit the 03 Idiot and Jab Tak hai Jaan shooting points. Try local food at any of the small restaurants around the Lake shore., Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the colour changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp at Pangong area or Tangtse.

Day 06 : Pangong Lake to Leh (140 kms) | Monasteries and Rancho School

Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of Sun rise on lake. Post breakfast start your drive to Leh, this time crossing the mighty Changla pass at 17000ft. On the way visit  Thiksey Monastery which is one of the largest and architecturally most impressive Gompas of Ladakh. There are several temples in this Gompas, containing images, stupas and wall paintings of Buddha, which are exquisite. Also visit Shey Palace on a hillock 15 Kms before Leh, it was once the residence of the royal family. A 7.5 mts high copper statue of Buddha, plated with gold and the largest of its kind, is installed here. After visiting Shey Palace continue drive to Leh enroute two brief halts at Druk Pema Karpo School AKA Rancho’s School (03 Idiot fame) and Sindhu Ghaat where the annual Sindhu Darshan festival is held.  Reach Leh and relax at the hotel or just walk to Leh market for souvenir shopping. The bikes will be handed over to our representatives. Dinner and overnight stay at Leh.

Day 07 : Departure | It’s Time to say Goodbye to the Mountains

It’s time to say goodbye to your fellow travellers and to this magical land. After breakfast, we will bid you farewell and drop you at the Airport.

WE PROVIDE:

  1. Accommodation at all locations in Hotels/Camps
  2. Meals during the tour.
  3. Motorbikes for riders as per the itinerary.
  4. Experienced road captain cum expert mechanic on his own bike.
  5. Fuel for the whole trip as per the itinerary.
  6. Inner line permits and Ladakh Union fee.
  7. Daily maintenance by an experienced mechanic
  8. Spare parts change in the bike during the tour – front tube/rear tube/spark plug/clutch & brake wire/clutch & disc brake pads/engine oil/clutch plate.
  9. A 4×4 backup vehicle to carry your luggage, spare parts and extra fuel in case of group size more than 06 pax.
  10. Standard size helmet for the rider and the pillion (suggest you to bring your own for best comfort and safety)
  11. Oxygen cylinder and Basic First-Aid during the tour.
  12. Driver expenses/ toll tax/ Fuel/ Parking charges.
  13. All taxes including GST.

THINGS TO CARRY:

  • License, Medical Insurance and Travel Insurance.
  • Saddle bags/ Magnetic tank bag/ Luggage carrier.
  • Comfortable clothes: tracks, raincoats, tee-shirts.
  • Jackets and pullovers.
  • Flashlight with extra batteries.
  • Personal medication.
  • Riding Shoes, a pair of slippers for the night, extra pair of socks.
  • Sunglasses, caps or hats, sunscreen lotion and insect repellents.
  • Personal toiletries.
  • Water bottles, backpack with plastic lining, daypack.

 

ADVISORY:

  • Facility to carry luggage in a vehicle is restricted to 01 Rucksack / Duffle bag of 60 Litres per motorbike.
  • Backup vehicle will be provided if the group size is of more than 06 pax per departure.
  • Any damage caused to the bike because of mishandling by the rider, the cost for it will be borne by the traveler.
  • All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees are excluded from the package cost.
  • Lunch throughout the tour & meals during the Bus journey will be on the traveler.
  • Traveler takes care of all the International / Domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax or any kind of insurance cover.
  • Items of personal nature like drinks, laundry, telephone calls, tips, camera fees etc& any other item not specifically mentioned in the inclusion labels.
  • Wear riding shoes till your ankles.
  • Climatic conditions in the high altitudes contrast from the plains; take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.
  • While riding, tuck-in your tracks into the socks to avoid hindrance.
  • Wear double layered socks to avoid dust, mud, and infections during the trek.
  • Do not wear tight-fitted clothes as they might hinder with your movement during the ride.
  • Do not carry valuables like jewelry or expensive electronics.
  • Wear proper protective headgear that fits perfectly along with eyewear and mouth protection wear to avoid the glare of the sun, dust, and wind.
  • Consult with a physician if you are fit to undertake the long bike ride.
  • The ride takes place through eco-friendly zone; do not litter the local sites or campsites.
  • Consumption of alcohol/drugs and smoking during the bike ride is strictly prohibited.
  • Usages of plastic bags are strictly prohibited during the ride.
  • Any damage to bike during the tour would be payable by guest directly.
  • Please bring your own USB Pendrive of 32 GB for videos and images.
  • Children are not allowed on bike trips, only people above the age of 18 and holders of proper licenses.
